Why is Indeed Crowd ending?
Indeed Crowd Beta was an experiment in crowdsourced recruiting. That experiment has now ended. We have learned a lot from Indeed Crowd, and we look forward to applying those learnings to future projects.
What will change and when?
The core features of Indeed Crowd will be turned off on May 7, 2018. For more details, please see the Recruiters and Employers sections.
Who can I contact with questions or concerns?
As always, our Customer Support team is here to help. Please direct your questions to them by emailing email@example.com
When will you stop adding new jobs?
We are no longer accepting new jobs on the Crowd platform as of April 5, 2018. Existing jobs will remain listed until they expire, are removed by employers, or are removed by Indeed.
When must I stop referring candidates?
On May 7, 2018, jobs on Crowd will no longer be eligible for rewards, and all remaining jobs will be removed.
What about the candidates I have already referred?
We will continue to track and communicate the status of your previously referred candidates, and continue to issue rewards you earn based on these candidates. You can continue to check on the statuses of your referred candidates here. If you earned more than $600 from Indeed Crowd in 2018, you will receive a W9 from Indeed in early 2019.
Will I still be able to track candidate statuses and my earnings?
Yes, the candidate status tracker and payment tracker will remain active until December 31, 2018. Make sure to redeem any Amazon Gift Card codes listed on this page before this date, as these codes will not be available for reference in 2019. You may also continue to access your user profile page by clicking here.
When can I no longer list new jobs on Crowd?
We are no longer accepting new jobs on the Crowd platform as of April 5, 2018. Existing jobs will remain listed until May 7, 2018 unless they expire or are removed at your request first.
When will I stop receiving candidates for jobs I have previously listed?
We will stop accepting candidate referrals from recruiters on May 7, 2018. You may receive a few candidates after this date, since it sometimes takes a few days for a candidate to confirm their interest in the role (thus releasing the candidate to you).
What should I do with the Crowd candidates I receive(d)?
Please continue to aim for a positive candidate experience, and progress them through your hiring process.
What if I hire a Crowd candidate after Crowd is shut down?
You will not be charged for any Indeed Crowd candidates you hire. However, we would still like to know if/when you hire Crowd candidates (we will continue to pay rewards to recruiters on Crowd when earned). Please continue to inform of any new hires by emailing us so we can update our records.
